do you miss me? i miss myself, sometimes. less than 18 days until i get married, then the honeymoon in mexico, and THEN i should have time to get back into painting. sorry about the absence...it only makes the heart grow fonder, right?

Hello everyone! I almost forgot this place existed...I'm so sorry about that! Unfortunately I've been too busy for painting, as I am now a mom to 9 month old boy/girl twins Elliot and Morgan.
I've been focusing my creativity on my somewhat new Etsy shop where I sell baby items that I've sewed. You can check it out at nerdybaby.etsy.com nerdybaby.etsy.com
I hope to someday be able to paint again, but I don't see that happening for a few more years. Miss you all!

Just an update to say I have nothing to update you on. I just have been in a painting slump for the past year. Not sure why, but I don't see it ending any time soon. I know it will come back eventually, but until then........

i've been extra productive lately.
-organizing photos (wow i have a lot)
-actually doing a lot of work and enjoying it (hmm)
-getting dressed everyday (haha)
-painting again (julieomg.deviantart.com)
-keeping the house fairly clean (yay)
-reorganized my office (easier to paint now)
-listening to more music (i've been so bad about this)
more goals:
-start doing wii fit again since i won't be able to go outside much
-buy animal crossing for wii but attempt to not waste my life away playing it
-keep painting as much as humanly possible
-revive nerdup.net and put as much nerdy stuff on it as i can
-think about starting a 101 in 1001 project like nicole
-actually find new bands worth listening to (can i count blake schwarzenbach's new band?! HOLY F)
let's see if i can keep this up through the entire winter!
upcoming plans, busy december:
-dec 5-7: chicago for work holiday party. yay free trip and seeing pals!
-dec 13: fargo for nephew ian's 3rd birthday. can't believe he's 3!
-dec 19-23: houston for jennifer's graduation and christmas with my mom!
-dec 24-26: grand rapids for christmas at the candy's!
